i2i Events Group Wins AEO and Conference Awards

i2i Events Group took home several awards last week, when it joined other leading organisers, venues, suppliers and key industry figures at the AEO Excellence Awards and the Conference Awards ceremonies, held in London.
AEO Excellence Awards
The AEO Excellence Awards showcase the best of the events industry and recognise the achievements of the people delivering world-class events, all year round. It was a particularly good night for i2i when Money20/20 (the largest global event focused on payments and financial services innovation, which was acquired by i2i in 2014), was given the AEO Award for Best Overseas Trade Show Exhibition. The award was judged on stand out content and marketing elements, as well as notable improvements in performance and rebookings, an increase in visitor attendance and competitive success. The Glee Operations Team was also awarded Organiser Team of the Year, and Best Use of Social Media went to Bett, the leading education technology exhibition, for #BettChat. This social media initiative drives interaction and conversation within the education community, focusing on the topics and issues at the forefront of the industry, and facilitating networking.
i2i Events Group was the biggest winner of any organiser on the night, with additional nominations for Bett in the Best UK Trade Show Exhibition category, and Money20/20 for the Innovation Award and Best Live Event category.
Consecutive win at the Conference Awards
The following week, Money20/20 went on to win again at the Conference Awards, taking home Best Large Scale Event/Congress, and the World Retail Congress Series marketing team received a Mark of Excellence for Best Conference Marketing Team. i2i also had finalists in Best New Launch Overseas (Bett Asia Leadership Summit), Best Development of an Existing UK Conference (Bett), Best American Conference (Money20/20) and Best Conference Operations Team (Congress Division).
