EXHIBITOR Celebrates New Graduates from the Certified Trade Show Marketer Program

Exhibitor Media Group, the award-winning leader in trade show and corporate event marketing education, announced this year’s Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) graduates. Awarded by EXHIBITOR, in affiliation with Northern Illinois University Outreach, the CTSM program reflects adherence to the highest educational standards of trade show and event marketing. “Often equated to a graduate degree in event marketing, the demand for our program continues to grow,” commented Jan Nelson, CTSM gold level, executive director, Exhibitor Media Group’s CTSM program. “We had over 40 new corporate professionals enroll in the program this week alone which brings the current total to over 3,860.” This year forty new graduates earned CTSM accreditation. Fifty-three others received bronze, silver, and gold level status. Two graduates earned the highest level of recognition for academic achievement which is diamond level status. The individuals who received their CTSM diamond pin were:
New graduates and alumni were invited to attend a dinner and awards ceremony held at the Four Seasons. Guests enjoyed an evening celebration that included keynote speaker, Amy Sondrup, president, Access TCA. ”Access TCA has been a major supporter of CTSM activities at EXHIBITORLIVE for the past four years,” commented Nelson. “We thank our sponsors who made the CTSM program such a success for participants during ExhibitorLive.” New this year was a CTSM Graduate Connection, inspired by a half day workshop entitled “Walking the Talk as a CTSM. Realize Your Potential, Make a Difference, Discover Your Value”, presented by Dan Lumpkin at EXHIBITOR FastTrak. Nelson explained, “The Graduate Connection is an informal gathering designed to encourage CTSM graduates to be leaders and explore various ways to demonstrate their leadership.” CTSM graduates report earning up to 13% higher salaries on average than their non-certified colleagues.
