EDPA Foundation Awards Scholarship to FIT Exhibition Design Student
12/20/2019
Last month, the Experiential Designers and Producers (EDPA) Foundation awarded a scholarship to Laura Pressler. Laura is a design student in the exhibition design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.
The FIT program educates exhibition designers and serves as the only graduate degree in exhibition design in the U.S.
Christina Lyons, Chair, FIT; with student Laura Pressler
“Design is so critical to face-to-face marketing and thankfully the EDPA Foundation and EDPA Association is able to make a difference for students pursuing our world as a career via these scholarships and the many other ways they support the program at FIT,” added Randal Acker, EDPA University Affiliation Program committee member.

About the Fashion Institute of Technology
One of New York City’s premier public institutions, FIT is an internationally recognized college for design, fashion, art, communications, and business. We’re known for our rigorous, unique, and adaptable academic programming, experiential learning opportunities, academic and industry partnerships, and commitment to research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
While our pedagogical mission is to prepare our students for professional excellence in design and business, our broader ethos is to foster creativity, inspire leadership, impart a global perspective, and educate students to embrace inclusiveness, commit to sustainability, and engage with community. We encourage students, scholars, teachers, and industry colleagues to cross traditional boundaries of both geography and disciplines. Together we strive to develop innovative design and strategic business solutions that will upend the status quo, create personal and professional opportunity, and have a lasting and sustainable global impact. www.fitnyc.edu
