New York Society of Association Executives Announces Stuart Ruff-Lyon as Meetings Professional of the Year

New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE) has announced Stuart Ruff-Lyon, CMP, DES, Vice President of Events and Exhibitions at Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), as the Synergy Awards 2020 Meetings Professional of the Year Award winner. He will accept the inaugural award during NYSAE’s Synergy Award Luncheon on Wednesday, May 13, 12 PM – 2 PM at the Harvard Club in New York City. There will be eight other awards presented that day.
Ruff-Lyon leads and directs a team of professionals who manage RIMS’ global event portfolio, and oversees all event sales initiatives for attendee, exhibitor and sponsor acquisition. He currently serves as the 2020 Chair of the Board for Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) Board of Directors and as an advisor to the cities of Denver, Chicago and San Francisco as well as Marriott International. His passion expands beyond the events industry and into his success as a Business Events Strategist.
