LIVE FOR LIFE: Live Event COVID-19 Coalition is a group of professional event organizations uniting to offer help in confronting COVID-19.

COVID-19 has ravished the live events industry unlike anything we’ve seen before. Our entire industry may be on pause, but rather than hunker down and weather the storm, we see an opportunity to offer our unique skillset.

For every 1,000 people living in the US, there are 2.9 hospital beds, and more than half of all counties in the US have no hospital ICU beds. In a modeled scenario representing moderate COVID-19 spread, nearly all US hospital regions would need to free up or add beds for COVID-19 patients.

You may be able to help. As a united force, we have the volume and capacity to meet the temporary structure demand facing our Nation today. Our production and labor crews can be deployed regionally and can have your field hospital operational within 72 hours of notification.

Across our industry, we have a workforce of 10.3 million people whose jobs are directly supported by business events, and another 15.6 million whose are supported indirectly. We’ve moved 1.5 billion attendees through events, shows, and experiences across 180 countries in 2017. We can do this.
