Showcore’s Jack De Vries Elected President of Event Production Network (EPN)

The Event Production Network (EPN) has announced that Jack De Vries has been elected as its new president, along with several new board members.
Through its network of 34 member locations across North America, EPN creates 30,000 memorable experiences annually using the latest AV technology to transform events into immersive experiences. The organization strengthens its network while delivering higher production value for event planners and audiences alike.
De Vries, who is the president at Showcore in Eagan, Minnesota, and formerly served as EPN’s treasurer and secretary, brings more than a decade of experience in event production, sales strategy and client partnership development and will focus on:
“I’m honored to step into this role at a time of strong momentum for EPN,” De Vries said. “My focus is on deepening engagement across our member companies, enhancing the educational resources we provide and elevating awareness among event planners of the exceptional expertise within our network. By strengthening collaboration and promoting industry best practices, EPN will continue to deliver greater value for our members and the event planner and producer clients they serve.”
Before becoming president of Showcore, De Vries built a diverse foundation in customer service, technical sales and business development. He began his career at Ameriprise Financial, supporting brokerage operations and complex client needs, before moving into technical sales at Omnetics Connector Corporation, where he managed customer relationships, quoting processes and design requirements. De Vries joined Showcore in 2014 as director of sales and marketing, later advancing to vice president and then president.
EPN also recognizes outgoing president Brad Poarch, CEO of Cory’s, for his leadership and service to the organization. In his new role as immediate past president, Poarch will continue his service on EPN’s board, which represents a cross-section of leading event production companies committed to guiding the organization’s strategic priorities.
