World Health Expo Miami 2026 Returns as a Global Platform for Healthcare Trade and Innovation

4/28/2026

MIAMI, FL — World Health Expo Miami (WHX Miami) will return to the Miami Beach Convention Center from June 17–19, 2026, bringing together healthcare leaders from around the world at a defining moment for global trade, regulation, and innovation.

As part of the World Health Expo global brand, presented by Informa Markets, WHX Miami continues to expand its international reach, connecting healthcare markets across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, with ongoing growth into new regions further strengthening its global footprint.

Within this network, WHX Miami is the largest healthcare exhibition in the Americas and a critical meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, policymakers, investors, and innovators working to advance healthcare across borders. As healthcare increasingly intersects with wellness, performance, and lifestyle, the event is evolving to reflect how innovation is being developed, commercialized, and applied in real-world settings.

The 2026 edition takes place as Miami serves as a host city for the FIFA World Cup, creating a unique backdrop where global health, performance, and innovation intersect. This convergence reinforces Miami’s growing position as a destination for health, wellness, and medical tourism, while shaping new opportunities across the healthcare ecosystem. WHX Miami will leverage this moment to heighten its focus on sports medicine, performance health, rehabilitation, and recovery technologies, aligning with increasing global demand for solutions that support both elite performance and everyday wellness. This dynamic backdrop further reinforces WHX Miami’s identity as a hub for startup innovation and investment, as well as a global marketplace and platform for navigating change across the healthcare industry.

Momentum from 2025 underscores the event’s growing impact, with more than 13,000 professional visits, over 1,200 exhibitors, and participation from 121 countries, including 36 exhibiting countries and 13 country pavilions. The event also generated an estimated $556 million in total business activity, reinforcing its role as a leading platform for global healthcare trade. As the industry navigates shifting trade dynamics, evolving regulatory frameworks, and continued pressure on global supply chains, WHX Miami 2026 will focus on how organizations can adapt to market uncertainty while continuing to scale, innovate, and expand internationally.

“Healthcare is operating in a more complex global environment than ever before, and that’s exactly why platforms like WHX Miami matter,” said Gil Alejo, Exhibition Director, World Health Expo Miami. “This is where the industry comes together to navigate change, build partnerships, and move ideas forward. It’s not just about showcasing innovation — it’s about understanding how to scale it across borders and make it work in the real world.”

New for 2026, WHX Miami will introduce Future X, a dedicated platform focused on scaling health innovation through trade, regulation, and investment. Designed for both emerging startups and established companies, Future X will bring together entrepreneurs, manufacturers, investors, regulators, and government leaders to explore practical pathways for international expansion.

The three-day program will be structured around key themes of Scale, Innovate, and Invest, featuring leadership talks, live innovation showcases, and partner-led keynotes. Sessions will explore topics such as AI-driven and personalized healthcare, robotics in clinical settings, women’s health as a growing investment category, and strategies for entering and scaling within the U.S. market, alongside broader discussions on global regulation, procurement, and supply chain resilience.

The event will also mark the return of Xcelerate, WHX Miami’s global startup competition, where emerging companies present breakthrough ideas live on stage to a panel of investors and industry leaders. Xcelerate offers startups the opportunity to gain international exposure, mentorship, and access to capital, with applications open through May 25, 2026.

The competition continues to build momentum following a strong 2025 edition, where DermaSensor was named the winner. Led by Co-Founder and CEO Cody Simmons, the company developed a handheld device that uses light-based technology and artificial intelligence to help physicians assess skin lesions for cancer in real time — highlighting the kind of practical, scalable innovation the platform is designed to elevate.

WHX Miami will also deepen its focus on aesthetics, beauty, and wellness, one of the fastest-growing sectors in healthcare. South Florida represents a major hub for medical aesthetics and non-invasive treatments, driven by strong consumer demand, a thriving medical tourism ecosystem, and a cultural emphasis on preventative care and longevity. The 2026 event will feature an expanded presence of med spas, wellness clinics, and aesthetic technology providers, reflecting how these categories are increasingly integrated into the broader healthcare landscape.

In addition to commercial innovation, WHX Miami will continue its commitment to global health impact through the Charity Zone, featuring organizations working to improve maternal health and expand access to essential care worldwide. Participating this year are Season of Hope: Supporting Mothers, Changing Lives, a nonprofit dedicated to improving maternal health outcomes through education, family-centered care, and global initiatives spanning from Florida to communities across Africa, and Image Assist, a nonprofit focused on increasing access to diagnostic imaging for underserved populations by supporting equipment projects, training healthcare professionals, and sponsoring patients in need.

WHX Miami continues to deliver strong outcomes for both attendees and exhibitors, with visitors identifying the event as vital to their business and a high concentration of decision-makers attending with purchasing authority. These results reflect the event’s role as a high-value environment for sourcing, networking, and entering new markets. Registration for WHX Miami 2026 is now open and free to attend, with tailored opportunities for executive-level decision-makers, buyers, and global healthcare leaders.
