EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Corporate Event Awards Expands to Celebrate Design and Innovation Excellence

EXHIBITOR magazine is proud to announce the evolution of its prestigious Corporate Event Awards with an exciting expansion. For 24 years, the program has honored strategic and results-driven excellence in event marketing. But for the 2027 program (with deadlines in December 2026), the awards will introduce 11 new design and innovation categories to complement the existing strategy-focused recognitions.

This expanded program aims to recognize not only the measurable impact of corporate events but also the creative ingenuity and forward-thinking design that elevate event experiences to new heights.

Honoring Excellence in Event-Marketing Strategy and Design

The Corporate Event Awards will continue to celebrate outstanding achievements in two key areas:

  • Strategic Impact (Results-Driven): Highlighting events that deliver measurable results and strategic marketing success.
  • Design and Innovation (Creativity-Driven): Recognizing innovative, creative, and visually impactful event designs and activations.
With 22 total categories — including 11 brand-new design and innovation awards — event marketers and designers can showcase their full range of talents and contributions in the dynamic world of corporate events.

Deadlines

  • Early: December 4, 2026 — $195
  • Regular: December 11, 2026 — $245
  • Late: December 18, 2026 — $295
Eligibility and Categories

Eligible corporate events must have launched between December 1, 2025, and December 1, 2027. A corporate event is defined as a marketing event where the target audience comprises external customers (businesses, partners, or consumers) or members of the media.

The 11 new design and innovation categories include:

  • A-to-Z Design (for the entire event)
  • Immersive Environment
  • Interactive Attendee Experience
  • Mobile Vehicle
  • Nontraditional Element
  • Scenic, Stage, or Set Design
  • Sustainable Design
  • Theme
  • Venue Transformation
  • Use of Technology
  • User Experience (UX)
If the same event is entered in both the Strategic Impact and Design and Innovation category groups, each entry in the latter group is discounted 50%.

Judging and Recognition

Entries will be evaluated by a panel of marketing and design experts, with distinct criteria for each category group. Winners will be notified by March 1, 2027, and featured in the August/September issue of EXHIBITOR magazine. While awards may not be granted in all categories, multiple awards and honorable mentions will be presented across the competition.
